  • Veiled Resin Art

My art business exists because my writing existed first. And my writing exists because art exists. These are both true and inescapable statements, and because I feel a drive so deep that it's lodged into the core of my being, I live so that if I'm not doing art, I'm writing, and if I'm not writing, I'm doing art.

Veiled Resin is a brand new art style that I invented in my head months before I spent the last of my Lux paycheck to buy a giant CNC machine to attempt my art in reality. To make a Veiled Resin piece, I carve into the back of an acrylic canvas and fill the hollows with appropriately-colored mica and dye resin. When the piece is completed, I can at last unveil it. The poured resin takes shape almost as if by magic, and the finished piece is both 2D and 3D.
